On 11 October 2024, over 1,600 members of the JurongHealth Campus (JHC) family gathered at Resorts World Sentosa for an unforgettable evening, celebrating our 15th Anniversary Dinner & Dance 🕺🏻💃🏻! Themed “Mobile Legends: Power Up As One,” the evening was packed with nostalgia, excitement, and unity as we honoured JHC’s incredible journey from our beginnings at Alexandra Hospital to our thriving community today at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH) and Jurong Community Hospital (JCH). 🏥💙
The "Mobile Legends" theme celebrated the evolution of mobile gaming 📱—an industry that, like JHC, has transformed how we connect and impact lives. Just as mobile games bring joy to millions, JHC has left a lasting impact on the community, delivering compassionate care 💗 and driving healthcare innovation 🩺 for the past 15 years.
The festivities began with a high-energy dance challenge led by our Senior Leaders, setting the stage for a night of fun and celebration. Our CEO, A/Prof Dan Yock Young, followed with a heartfelt speech, reflecting on our journey and looking forward to a bright future. The premiere of our 15th Anniversary video stirred up nostalgia 🥹, celebrating JHC’s milestones 🛣️, achievements 🏆, and the unwavering dedication 💪🏻 of our staff.
In a symbolic moment, our distinguished guests, Ms Dorothy Chan and Prof Lim Pin, joined our Senior Leaders, Pioneer Chairman Mr Lim Yong Wah, and Pioneer Senior Leaders representative A/Prof Cheah Wei Keat, along with GCMB Prof Thomas Loh, to cut the anniversary cake 🎂, marking this important milestone.
One of the night’s most anticipated segments was the J-Factor talent competition, where our talented staff showcased their skills. Congratulations to our winners:
1st Prize: “Squiddy Ambulatory Groovers” - Nurses from the Ambulatory Unit, dazzling the audience with their slick moves. 💃🏻🪩🕺🏻
2nd Prize: “Super Huat” 西北發 - A lively team from Quality, Innovation & Improvement (QII) and Patient Experience, energising the crowd with their beat. 🎶
3rd Prize: “Triple M” - Nurses from NTFGH Nursing Clinical Services, Ward B7S, and JCH Ward C7, serenading everyone with their beautiful vocals. 😍🎤
We also recognised some of our outstanding staff members who have gone above and beyond with the Staff Appreciation Awards:

Excitement ran high throughout the night as 180 lucky draw prizes 🎁 were given away. Thanks to generous sponsorship 💸 from our Senior Leaders, prizes added an extra thrill, especially as the evening built up to the top awards:
🥇 1st Prize: A round-trip ✈️ for two to Melbourne 🐨 + $600 Klook e-gift card, won by Fatin Farisha Binte Saad, Executive Assistant, Allied Health, JCH, generously sponsored by CEO A/Prof Dan Yock Young.
