Part 3: One month to Go-Live!
The 2-in-1 Go-Live Journey:

We’re just one month away from the launch of the 2-in-1 Go-Live on 04 October 2025 — when the National Billing System (NBS) and the National Harmonised Integrated Pharmacy System (NHIPS) will officially Go-Live at NTFGH and JCH.
This milestone marks a big step forward in how we serve our patients. With these new systems in place, staff can look forward to:
Streamlined billing
Fewer manual adjustments, quicker bill processing, more time for patient care instead of explanations.
Seamless pharmacy services Safer, smarter workflows between prescribers and pharmacy.
Smoother patient journey
Staff will find it easier to guide patients, as processes are aligned across the system.

Key changes for staff to note:
Staff Prescription Drop-off
From 22 September to 03 October, the drop-off box service will be temporarily suspended. During this period, please proceed to the registration counter to submit your prescription. You will be required to collect your medication by the end of the same day.
From 06 October to 19 October, the drop-off service will resume with a turnaround time of 2 working days. If you require your medication on the same day, you may still join the pharmacy queue for same day collection.
From 20 October onwards, the drop-off service will resume normal operations.
Early closures scheduled for 03 October, the day before go-live:

Outpatient Pharmacy
Early closure at 3:00pm.
Please collect all medications before the closure.

Staff Clinic
Staff Clinic will not see acute and chronic patients after 1pm.
Services that do not require a prescription, such as pre-employment checks, will continue.
Revalidation Exercise
A Revalidation Exercise (RVE) was carried out on 30 August, bringing together staff from multiple departments to validate key workflows under real-life scenarios. The learnings from this session were valuable in helping us smoothen processes as we prepare for Go-Live.
Thank you to all staff who dedicated their time and energy to this important exercise — your contribution is critical to ensuring a seamless transition.

"
I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the Pharmacy Team for their tremendous GRIT in embracing change. A special thanks to our In-charges, Informatics Pharmacists, Superusers, and Influencers for their tireless dedication and collaborative spirit in preparing for the 2-in-1 Go-Live. Their contributions have been outstanding — from conducting thorough testing and engaging in meaningful discussions to optimise new workflows, to delivering refresher training to ensure all team members are well-prepared.
The team's unity and perseverance in the face of this significant change are commendable and will undoubtedly help us overcome the challenges ahead.
