These remarkable individuals from Jurong Community Hospital were among more than 200 recipients honoured at this year’s CCEA. Introduced by the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) in 2014, the awards celebrate healthcare professionals who have demonstrated exceptional service, commitment to quality care, and dedication to driving impactful quality improvement projects within the Community Care sector 🏨.

🤩 We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the incredible achievements of our award recipients, including SSN Mary Jane and Dr Elaine, who have both earned their third CCEA award this year! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

​SSN Mary Jane’s impressive accolades include her first CCEA award in 2018, the prestigious Public Sector Transformation Award in 2020, a second CCEA award in 2022, and most recently, the highly coveted Service Champ Award at the 2024 Service Quality Awards Ceremony. Her dedication and excellence are celebrated not just within our campus but also on the national level. 👏🏼​

🌟 Meet the amazing staff of Ward C10! 🌟 From my first day, she was attentive to my needs, offering encouragement and motivating me to stay strong 💪. Her genuine care and respect stood out, especially when she helped ensure the safety of other patients. Not only does she provide guidance on our health journeys, but she does so with a warm smile 😄. I’m incredibly grateful for the great care from her and the entire Ward C10 team during my 9-month stay. If you find yourself in Ward C10, you’ll be in the best hands!

​Dr Elaine's extraordinary commitment has also been recognised with a trio of CCEA awards in 2018, 2022, and now 2024. This remarkable achievement cements her status as a shining star in the healthcare community, both on campus and across the nation.​

Dr Elaine is incredibly kind and understanding; her genuine care for me truly shines through ❤️. I feel comfortable discussing my illness with her, and she takes the time to explain my condition in a way that I can easily understand.

Adding to this celebration of excellence, SSN Song Ling and SN Rupinder both received awards at the recent 2024 Service Quality Awards🏅SSN Song Ling earned the Service Ambassador Silver Award, while SN Rupinder took home the prestigious Service Ambassador Gold Award. These remarkable achievements highlight their outstanding service and commitment, making a significant impact both within our campus and at the national level. Bravo to both! 👍🏼👍🏼

Hear what a patient shared about them 😇

I can't thank Song Ling enough for her exceptional care and support during our recent vacation in Malaysia. While enjoying a meal, my wife suddenly collapsed and fell unconscious, which was one of the most frightening moments of my life. 😱 But Song Ling wasted no time in initiating the necessary medical interventions, ensuring that my wife received the critical care required to stabilise her condition.

​

What truly touched me was her unwavering compassion and genuine concern for my well-being ❤️. Amid the chaos and urgency, she created a calm atmosphere that made all the difference. Her encouraging words and steady presence helped ease my fear and anxiety during such a scary time. Thank you, Song Ling, for being our rock in that moment! 🙏🏼💖​

Excellent service, remarkable. Rupinder has a deep understanding of her patients' condition and has the ability to uplift her patients' moral. With a kind heart ❤️ and a gentle touch, she excels in providing care. I sincerely appreciate her for the compassion she shows in addressing both the physical and emotional suffering of her patients.

As the saying goes, it takes more than just hard work and tenacity to thrive as healthcare professionals; it takes heart and a multitude of qualities to remain dedicated to patient care. 💖

 

Once again, congratulations to all the dedicated healthcare professionals recognised at the CCEA 2024 award ceremony 🏆, which took place on 2 October 2 2024, at Marina Bay Sands, alongside the Community Care Manpower Awards (CCMDA).
