Heartfelt Moments that Matter (featured video)
One of the most touching moments of the ceremony was the Patient and Caregiver feature video. We heard the heartfelt stories of Mr Wong, son of an 86-year-old patient, who expressed his gratitude to NC Liang Qing, Nursing Administration, for her exceptional care, and Mr Yeo, who thanked Adjunct Associate Professor Ng Chew Lip for his support during a challenging time. These moments remind us why we do what we do, and how powerful heartfelt connections can be.

"...I've not seen one (nurse) like Liang Qing....She allowed my father to hold her arm (when he was screaming in pain)...this is not just a nurse and her patient...what i saw was a family member of mine, taking care of my father...I have to salute this lady. I think she is one of the best I've ever seen....
if you are not my father's angel, you are definitely his hero. "

The day concluded with a powerful closing speech from Dr Darryl Tan, Assistant Chief Medical Board (ACMB) (Patient Experience and Culture). He congratulated all the recipients and shared an inspiring reminder of the positive impact of working together to elevate service excellence at every touchpoint.
He emphasised that each of us plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall patient experience, regardless of our role or department.
His words deeply resonated with the audience, reaffirming our collective commitment to delivering a holistic patient experience and bridging care across the continuum for both patients and their loved ones.
