A Warm Welcome to Our New CEO, A/Prof Dan Yock Young!

Effective 1 April 2024, Associate Professor Dan Yock Young takes over as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH) and Jurong Community Hospital (JCH).

A/Prof Dan brings with him a wealth of experience from a distinguished tenure as the Deputy Director-General of Health (DDGH) at the Ministry of Health (MOH). His leadership in healthcare transformation, particularly in re-organising primary care and fostering longitudinal care models, reflects his commitment to innovation, excellence in patient care and a refreshing vision that will undoubtedly propel NTFGH and JCH to greater heights.

With his background as a gastroenterologist and clinician scientist, A/Prof Dan's expertise spans clinical, educational, and research domains. His dedication to advancing medical knowledge and passion for nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals are truly commendable.

A/Prof Dan Yock Young expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome upon assuming the role of CEO at JurongHealth Campus. He emphasised his excitement and honour in leading the organisation following Dr Quek Lit Sin.
