Coffee with a Cop is back!
Given the positive response from the first "Coffee with a Cop" initiative held on 8 December 2023, our colleagues from the Security & Transport, Fire Safety department invited representatives from the Singapore Police Force (SPF) to JurongHealth Campus for another session with our staff.
On 19 July 2024, our staff had the opportunity to meet friendly police officers from Jurong East Neighbourhood Police Centre and held conversations to address their concerns within a safe and informal environment.
"Coffee with a Cop is yet another opportunity for the hospital Security team to collaborate with the Singapore Police Force (SPF) to create a safer environment for our staff. It reflects the spirit of trust and partnership between the hospital community and the Police"
- Zulkifli Rahmat, Assistant Director,
Security & Transport, Fire Safety
"Coffee with a Cop" will now take place annually, thanks to the ongoing partnership between our Security & Transport, Fire Safety department, and the Singapore Police Force (SPF). The essence of this initiative is the one-on-one engagement in a safe space, where staff are encouraged to share any concerns they might have, with the assurance that the police are there to assist and provide guidance.
This initiative not only strengthens the relationship between our staff and law enforcement but also underscores our commitment to their well-being. We look forward to seeing more participation in the future and are confident that such engagements will lead to a more secure and supportive work environment.
