National Safety & Security Watch Group Award Ceremony 2024
JurongHealth Campus (JHC) has done it again! For the second consecutive time, JHC has achieved an incredible milestone by winning the Safety and Security Watch Group (SSWG) Outstanding Individual Award. This national recognition highlights our commitment to the safety and security of our hospital premises and everyone within.

The award, introduced in 2009, is a prestigious biennial honour that acknowledges the outstanding efforts of members of the SSWG in maintaining high standards of safety and security.
This year, the competition was tougher than ever, with stricter judging criteria and a rigorous review process.
No stone was left unturned as every part of JHC’s security processes were examined and scrutinised; from measures and documentation to on-the-ground practices—to demonstrate that our safety standards are second to none.

JHC is proud to represent the National University Health System (NUHS) alongside National University Hospital (NUH) and Alexandra Hospital (AH), which received the Individual Award and Commendation Award respectively.
SSWG Outstanding Individual Award Recipients
Adding to the excitement, JHC was one of only four organisations selected for a media interview at the award ceremony on 27 December 2024. Our Chief Operating Officer, Ng Kian Swan, led the presentation, offering a rare opportunity to showcase how JHC and other NUHS institutions continually innovate and enhance safety and security practices to safeguard our patients, staff, and visitors.

The event was graced by Ms Sun Xueling, Minister of State for the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Social and Family Development, underscoring the significance of this occasion.
Winning this award not only affirms the hard work and dedication of our Security Team but also sets a new benchmark for excellence. As we celebrate this achievement, we remain committed to advancing our safety and security standards, ensuring a safe environment for everyone at JHC.
