🌱 Growing More Than Just Veggies at NTFGH! 🌱
At Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, healing goes beyond patient care—it grows right in our community garden! 🌿💚
An initiative led by the Community Relations department, which allows different departments to adopt plots in the hospital's community garden, Senior Technicians Wendy Teo and Hung Lea Ping from the CSSD/TSSU department took the opportunity to nurture two plots.
Senior Technicians Wendy Teo and Hung Lea Ping from CSSD/TSSU have turned their adopted plots into a green oasis of organic veggies with help from volunteers and the support of NC Kristin Chin. Wendy’s passion extended to her husband, who follows her to the garden on weekends, whenever time allows.
From caixin and kangkong to winter melons and more, they’ve shared their harvests with colleagues and even presented a giant winter melon to immediate past Chief Executive Officer, NTFGH and present Assistant Chief Executive, NUHS, Dr Quek Lit Sin, who whipped up a tasty dish! 🍲✨
