Health On Track (HOT) 2023 @ Hong Kah North
On Saturday, 11 March 2023, we brought the fourth edition of our flagship health carnival — Health On Track (HOT) — to Hong Kah North community!

At our first large-scale physical event since emerging from the pandemic, about 300 residents turned up at Hong Kah North Community Club to learn how to stay healthy and prevent the onset of chronic conditions.
Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment & Ministry of Transport, and Advisor to Hong Kah North Grassroots Organisations, joined in at the event as well. She announced the launch of Ng Teng Fong General Hospital’s (NTFGH) first Chinese edition of the Wise and Well 2.0 programme where the first rollout was focused on the Hong Kah North residents.
Advisor Dr Amy Khor announces the launch of the NTFGH's Wise and Well 2.0 programme, which is a preventive health programme developed by our allied health team. It aims to educate participants on healthy eating, exercise and lifestyle management to improve their overall health and well-being.
To kickstart the event, REACH Community Services' Chair Zumba Group performed their Chair Zumba dance routine. Our residents had fun working out and grooving to the beat!
In addition, there was a healthy cooking demonstration by Mdm Yusnani from REACH Community Services and Advisor Dr Amy Khor, as they shared a healthier recipe of Dry Mee Siam with the residents.
Through educational activity booths and health screenings at the HOT event, our healthcare staff shared useful tips and resources with residents on how they can improve their overall health and well-being. Residents were engaged through activities such as Wise & Well, Preventing Falls at Home, Preventing and Managing Hearing Loss, and Be Aware of Your Breast Cancer Risk.
The little ones also had a chance to unleash their creativity at our art competition and pop art stations. Check out their masterpieces!
Kudos to our healthcare staff and volunteers for their efforts in empowering our community to take charge of their health! With all the bustling activity at HOT on Saturday, we could tell that our Hong Kah North residents had an absolute blast!
