Roaring into the 60's and Beyond!
In Feb 2019, I stepped into JHC in absolute awe - it felt like the Rebirth of my Adulthood.

(I rode on the Suzuki TL 1000s!)

From starting out as a not-so-young healthcare rookie to eventually being affectionately referred to as the Young Ahma by my much younger colleagues and supervisors, my newfound passion in healthcare gave me the daily zest to pour in 200% (and more!) of my energy and dedication into fulfilling my responsibilities across both outpatient and inpatient wards.
Of course, not forgetting the countless and priceless interactions with my team and ward mates over the years. These experiences have taught me much-appreciated lessons and eye-openers that enabled me to provide better levels of service and attention to the reason that we are here, our PATIENTS!

Rewinding a little further to 1990 - Motorcycling touring became such a fascinating hobby. Weekends were often spent on long rides with club-organised convoys across Malaysia and Thailand. 🏍️

So much so, that it became natural to take this as a family hobby, enjoying our pursuits through many rural areas, experiencing kampong sight and practices, which seemed to emulate Singapore from 30 - 40 years ago. I must say this has made me truly grateful for our blessings as a First World Country, and reflect more on simpler life's pleasures.

Today, I am simply happy to commute daily to work on my current retro metal horse (I’ve gone through quite a few motorcycles over the years — it’s an expensive hobby!) Riding helps me stay agile, mentally sharp, and physically active — a small passion that still brings me great joy.

Always be kind, especially to animals/those less fortunate than us. Practise mindfulness, stay true to your self-beliefs and value system.
And, Live Life Fully!
