阿尔茨海默氏症患者 口腔保健易被忽略
(Oral care is often neglected in persons with Alzheimer’s Disease)
Dr Madeleine Tan, Associate Consultant, Division of Restorative & Preventive Dentistry, Department of Dentistry, NTFGH, explained that seniors with Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) have a tendency to neglect their oral healthcare. She shared that caregivers can try supporting seniors with their oral hygiene procedures at an alternative time of the day or location, should they face resistance.
