Making Kindness Bloom in JHC

Kindness was in full bloom this May at JurongHealth Campus! From 05 to 30 May, our campus came alive with heartwarming vibes as we celebrated Kindness Week and Good Neighbour Day with the theme “Making Kindness Bloom in JurongHealth Campus.”
Led by our amazing Community Relations team and supported by our school and community partners, the month-long celebration brought staff, patients, caregivers, and neighbours together — all for a shared purpose: to spread joy, love, and a little bit of magic. 🌼

Thoughtful Notes That Touched Hearts
In a beautiful partnership with West Spring Secondary School, over 100 handwritten encouragement cards were lovingly penned by students and gifted to our patients, caregivers and healthcare workers. These little notes carried big doses of cheer — proving once again that kindness doesn't have to be loud to be powerful.
We also hosted the “Say Something Kind, Write Something Nice” campaign during JHC LIVE and at pop-up booths on 23 and 26 May. More than 200 messages of gratitude and love were shared — now proudly displayed on our Kindness Wall at Tower A, Level 2. 🧡
Giving Back, From the Heart 🏘️
Kindness also meant giving, as staff and visitors rallied together for two meaningful causes:
Donate to a Good Cause
🧧 $3,400 raised at the Kindness Week donation drive (23 May) in support of JurongHealth Fund and its outreach to vulnerable communities.

Grocery Donation Drive
🎁 On 28 May, staff donated over $5,500 worth of essentials, reaching out to 200+ families in Jurong Central through a collab with Loving Heart Multi-Service Centre.
Warm "Huggs" for Staff
To round off the month-long celebration, our staff were treated to a warm cuppa through the “Have a Huggs on Us!” campaign, a small way to say thank you to our fellow healthcare colleagues who go the extra mile every day. ☕💛. Because sometimes, a cuppa is the kindest hug in a mug. #KindnessinJHC

Love Our Neighbours – A Growing Commitment
We also kicked off our Adopt-A-Rental-Block 2025 journey with a visit to Taman Jurong (Blk 116–118) on 24 May.
Over 50 staff volunteers showed up, connected with residents, and lent a listening ear to their health concerns. The same day, our staff volunteers joined Fei Yue x MSF’s FAMTASTIC Feast to share health tips and promote wellness.
We're just getting started — and we can’t wait to roll out more community health and wellness activities for residents of all ages.
