Sprinting Together into SG60

On 08 August, the Chinese Garden came alive with energy as staff laced up for the SG60 Run, organised by Dr Soh Poh Choong (Principal Resident Physician, Department of Emergency Medicine, NTFGH). Decked out in vibrant red and white, participants powered through 6KM in 60 minutes, cheered on by festive light sticks, vouchers for the first 60 finishers, and well-earned refreshments — all generously sponsored by the Health Promoting Hospital (HPH) Committee.

This event is part of Dr Soh’s ongoing initiative (since 2023!) to bring staff together for National Day walks and runs, with the vision of making it an annual tradition that celebrates fitness, camaraderie, and national pride.

It was an evening of laughter, teamwork, and red-and-white spirit — the perfect way for our staff to celebrate Singapore while staying active and connected. Here’s to building this into a beloved annual tradition!
