Health On Track (HOT) 2023: Event Wrap-up
The fourth edition of our flagship health carnival — Health On Track (HOT) — has finally come to an end! Being our first large-scale physical event since emerging from the pandemic, our HOT event spanned three weeks in March at two different locations: Hong Kah North Community Club and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH).
HOT@Hong Kah North (HKN) on 11 March 2023:
Cooking demonstration with Mdm Yusnani from REACH Community Services, and Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment & Ministry of Transport, and Advisor to Hong Kah North Grassroots Organisations.
Official opening of the NUWoC Children's Clinic @ NTFGH with our senior leaders, and Mdm Rahayu Mahzam, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Health & Ministry of Law, and Grassroots Advisor to Jurong GRC Grassroots Organisations.
Some of our event highlights for HOT include:
To round up the event, we had our public forum"Common Problems in Sleep", held at NTFGH on 25 March 2023. This sleep forum was jointly organised by the Sleep Disorders Multi-Disciplinary Care, NTFGH, and Sleep Society, supported by the Academy of Medicine Singapore and Chapter of Sleep Medicine Physicians.
More than 60 residents joined us last Saturday morning to learn about sleepless nights, the common problems faced in sleep, as well as how to prevent and manage these issues.
On top of our in-person events, we also launched the "HOT 2023 Virtual Challenge" which encouraged participants to sign up for a series of virtual challenges to earn tokens and redeem exciting rewards while staying physically active!
Held from 1 to 31 March 2023, participants had the chance to check out the different mission boards along the J-Walker+ route on the 42Race app to earn tokens in exchange for attractive e-vouchers. A special shoutout to IMM, JCube and Westgate for partnering with us on this HOT virtual challenge!
We had over 2,000 registrants who signed up for our different HOT challenges:
