The welcome speeches led into the launch of LEGACY by JHC – a short opening video 🎥 that introduced a customised JHC scent, presented as the evening’s door gift 🎁 for all attendees. The scent symbolises the unique “signature” our staff are creating together 🤲🏻 across the campus.

This was followed by a motivational segment 🗣️, “Winning Together: The Psychology of Recognition, Resilience and Renewal”, by guest speaker Thaddeus Lawrence. His sharing encouraged colleagues to reflect on the power of appreciation, mindset and collective strength in sustaining teams through change and challenge.

The first award 🏆 segment of the night recognised our Long Service Award recipients, including colleagues who have dedicated between 25 and 53 years to public healthcare across Nursing, Allied Health, Medical, Administrative and Ancillary. Their journeys reflect decades of growth, change and steadfast commitment to patients and teams.

A cake-cutting 🔪🎂 ceremony brought all Long Service Awardees together on stage - a visual reminder of the many hands 🤚🏻🤚🏼🤚🏾 and hearts 💗💗💗 that have built JurongHealth Campus over the years.

The spotlight then turned to the Lifelong Dedication to Care Award, presented to Adj A/Prof Tey Beng Hea, Visiting Consultant, Division of Endocrinology, Department of Medicine, NTFGH. An endocrinologist and internal medicine physician 👨🏻‍⚕️ who has served public healthcare for more than five decades, Adj A/Prof Tey is recognised for his clinical excellence, pioneering work in diabetes and endocrine care, contributions to education and research, and his consistently patient-centred approach.

Patients and colleagues alike have praised his ability to explain complex medical issues clearly, his calm and reassuring presence, and his generosity with time and mentorship – a powerful example of what lifelong dedication to care looks like on our campus. 👍🏻👍🏻
