Ms Jessie Chan, Senior Occupational Therapist, NTFGH, shared steps on how to wash hair for bedridden patients. Ms Joan Kristine Auxtero Descallar, Senior Staff Nurse, JCH, explained that the environment around bedridden patients should be safe and clutter-free when helping them with sponging activities.

Mr Arnold Hu, Senior Podiatrist, NTFGH, is one of the three healthcare scholars featured in this article commissioned by MOHH. He recalled how he treated an elderly woman for a wound on her toe, and a young diabetic patient who had infected foot ulcers on both feet.
